State Trumbauer

Good morning GHS Theatre parents,

If you are receiving this email, you have a student in Theatre 3 and/or a student that has qualified for the upcoming State Trumbauer theatre competition.

State Trumbauer is December 5-6 at UAB this year. The current plan for those that intend to go is to depart GHS at 6 pm on December 4. We will travel by bus to Birmingham that evening and get checked into our hotel. We will stay in the hotel for two nights before returning home Saturday night (December 6) after awards.

If you wish for your child to attend State Trumbauer, the associated fees are as follows -

• 2 Individual Events - $170

• 1 Individual Event - $160

• Student Observer - $150

These fees will cover bus transportation, hotel room fees, Trumbauer registration fees, and a few meals along the way.

These fees are due before we leave on December 4th.

We are limited on how many students we can take, participants and observers. Specifically, the observer slots have only been offered to students Theatre III. If for whatever reason you do NOT wish for your student to attend state, please let me know ASAP so that I may then offer up any leftover slots to students in other classes.

Once I have a finalized roster, I will have more specific info for you, including field trip permission forms.
