OUR DIRECTOR: Ryan Rorick
Meet Ryan Rorick, Theatre Director
Mr. Rorick, a Huntsville native, comes to Grissom after serving for two years as the Theatre Director at Athens High School. Before that, he worked professionally as an actor, director, and teaching artist, and can still be seen on many local stages.
Well-known and respected in the Huntsville Theatre community, Mr. Rorick brings to Grissom a dynamic blend of creativity, leadership, and a love for the performing arts.
To the Grissom community and supporters, he shares, "I am absolutely honored to join Grissom High School as the new Theatre Director. Grissom has a long history of theatrical excellence, and I am excited for the opportunity to continue that legacy."
Mr. Rorick will be teaching Theatre I–III and Tech Theatre and directing our upcoming lineup of plays, musicals, and competition pieces.

Our Students
Our students are incredible. Whether it's their involvement in other campus activities or their unique dreams and aspirations, the students of Grissom Theatre represent a diverse and talented group. You'll also find them actively contributing to the South Huntsville community; working at your favorite businesses, serving in churches, and/or participating in various community organizations.
Our admiration for them is echoed by their peers. "Grissom Musicals" were recently voted by current Grissom students as their "favorite school event or tradition."
